My story is one with no clear beginning or end, my fateful encounter with leather working has become an enduring facet of being.

As our imagination and emotions bind us to the meaning we desire for ourselves, I believe in my purpose as a leather craftsman is the culmination of the many unique events from the past that will guide me in the future.

But, as every story needs a start somewhere, we enter Bob’s place, a random point in time.

In his custom leather shop in lake Villa in 2011, this is where I met Bob and quickly became friends. So began a journey, visiting Bob's and watching his creations come to life, one of a kind works of leather art. In the summer of 2017 Bob introduced me to Chris Andre, another leather artisan whose work is also recognized as one of the best in the leather profession.

In the summer of 2017, I made plans for a weeklong summer master course at Andre's studio in Colorado. After my first lesson, I knew this would be my future - perfecting the art of leather craft became my obsession.
